Hi Bobbi! Thanks so much for your comment on 634. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I do indeed live in Spain. I am a Spaniard, and I've lived here for practically my entire life, so it doesn't seem like such a special place to me. The beaches do come in handy on particularly humid days, though. :))

I loved your comment on the high school years - sometimes I feel like I see things much more clearly than adults! I love being in high school. My classmates hate it, but I'd like to think that these are the days that will really mark my life, so I try to make the most of them.

Em dash is indeed a pseudonym, but only the "dash" part! You can call me Em.

Thanks again for your lovely comment!

    M.H. – Mar 01, 2010

    Bobbi Lurie – Feb 26, 2010

Julie, I'm glad what I wrote sparked another idea. I really miss New York. I don't like seeing the chalk marks. I live in a place with so much crime. New York has become a safe place.

    Julie Innis – Feb 25, 2010

Thanks for your comment on Sanctuary, Bobbi. I wrote this before living in NYC, but certainly there's something about such tight quarters that invites distance, whether between people or from terrible events. Not sure. Your comment has given me something to think more about. Which may lead to a new piece -- thank you!

    sara t. – Feb 25, 2010

Bobbi, thanx for the comments and the Fave! I responded to your comments on the storys wall.

    Dear Finnegan,

hi bobbi, welcome to fnaut and thanks for your close reading of my 'obituary' piece: 'What happened to the mother if the father was a casanova?' - she suffered. the mother's backbone is, in its entirety, subject of an earlier story of mine - when i first wrote this, it served as a reference. i'm glad the truth of this piece came through for you.

i greatly enjoyed your interview with writer's almanac that i just found and i'm looking forward to read your texts! cheers ff
