Diane Sherlock is the author of four novels, Dead Weight, Willful Ignorance, Growing Chocolate and the latest, Wrestling Alligators. In 2009, she received her MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University, Los Angeles where she worked with authors Rob Roberge, Gayle Brandeis, and Tara Ison. With Kate Maruyama, she co-founded and is co-editor for AnnotationNation.com, a site for writers to examine novels and short story collections in terms of craft.
She previously co-owned and managed a production services firm, renting camera and equipment packages to film and television projects. In addition, she worked as a freelance writer for several production companies and served as producer and production manager for dozens of television shows, films, short films, commercials, and PSAs, coordinating talent and crew and supervising all phases of production. Born in La Jolla, California, she currently lives in Los Angeles and is an honorary Masai after a recent trip to the Masai Mara.
