Erik Wennermark is a writer of fiction, nonfiction, and journalism. He has a BA in Individualized Study (with a focus in Drawing/Painting and 20th Century European Literature) from New York University and an MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) from the University of Alabama.
Erik has worked as a librarian in Baltimore, a gallerist in New York City and Venice, Italy, a painter in Denver, and a teacher in Alabama, Chicago, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, writing all the while. One of his proudest accomplishments is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania; other memorable trips include Peru, Syria, Cambodia, and the Balkans. Erik lives in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
