I have always admired flat-chested women. They're more mobile, more ambulatory than the voluptuous ones. Even at ten, I'd crush my budding breasts with ace bandages.
Flat-chested women seem to express an emphasis on liberty.
(Which would you prefer to be? Which ruffled shirt would it be beneath? The angular manikin or the sensuous one?)

Bobbi, this story is petite like petite breasts and legs and torsos. It's interesting that the petite seem linked to liberty here. *They* have something tall or large or voluptuous women do not have, and vice versa, and men; a petite woman I know (and about whom I feel consciously jealous) had her regular-sized breasts reduced so they could be small. A hockey player friend said, "I like women a little round in the ass and hockey legs." I was just crossing my (they feel new to me) hockey legs outside, and the men who pick up the garbage waved and smiled and looked again and commented on the cool spot for my chair, and I thought of hair, age, and taste.
Angular all the way! I hate having big boobs, but I'm just glad they're healthy and fed my son. If I had a bit less up front, I'd be a lot more mobile, but there's always an 'if' don't you think? And they don't get in the way of the keyboard, and that's the main thing!
Interesting subject. Enjoying your 55 word challenge.
Me, too.
Such a cool little piece, I just adore this one!

The form does the job here. Good work.
To paraphrase another such and famous soliloquy ..."Bubbies, he called them."

Such an interesting take on breasts. The self-admittance at the opening, the surprising statement in the middle, and leaving us with questions, probing, wondering can I make a choice like this when I think breasts, all of them, any shape or size, are all beautiful? And all within such terse parameters: 55 words. Wow.
Fave.
Why is it those have more want less and those who have less want more? Interesting bit, this, Bobbie. fave
It's an attractive, sensitive topic.
"Flat-chested women seem to express an emphasis on liberty."
Perhaps they've liberated themselves from gender stereotyping, from wanting only what the world wants them to want.
Which would I prefer to be? I'll think about that.
