Thanks, Mark, for your kind words about 'Ray's People...' I rarely feel like I know what I'm doing when I'm in the middle of something. Always a little surprised and befuddled by the whole process.
Mark you give the best feedback. It is so helpful to know why you respond to a story and to my work. I can't thank you enough for your note on my story.
Mark, as always, thank you so much for reading and commenting on my two pieces. I really appreciate that. If I ever had a "bad trip," I'm thinking the "table" piece is what it'd be like! Ha, ha! :-)
Mark, I'm blown away by your kind comments on "That Night" - one of the first fiction pieces I'd ever written. So wonderful to hear folks like it.
I see in your profile you're in Elmira - big ! - I grew up in Liberty, PA just south of you (near Williamsport). We used to go to the mall in Elmira shopping and to the Corning Glass Museum once a year. I imagine things have changed a lot since then. How does a farm girl from north central PA end up in New Zealand...never know where life leads us. But I got a warm fuzzy feeling when I saw Elmira, NY. Thanks for that!
Yep, Mark. Things are going just fine. Just felt I needed a break; wanted to change my routine, my obsessions, for awhile. For one thing, I want to spend some time with the e-zines, see if I can get some more stories published. Thanks for your reply!
Mark, Thank you so much for your comments on "Things Unseen" and "Movement." ("Movement" first appeared in Word Riot, too.) I took a look at your website. Beautiful images.
