Not an obsession so much as an inside joke (the other guy isn't here to hear it), though I am liking the Godot as a monstrous uncaring God aspect of it. Now, thinking of branching off into a play.

Hi LA - no, the Minerva of "Pierced" got her name when I pulled it out of a hat, I guess you could say. Though I've just read that Minerva, the goddess, had a pet owl.

Thanks Cherise, I get it now!

Just like on others' stories - you can pdf their story, but only you on your own stories can email, share, pdf and group!

    Meg Pokrass – Jun 07, 2010

    Lillian Ann Slugocki – Jun 07, 2010

oh maybe I can't see the follow bars and contact bars on my name but I can see them on other's, is that how it works?

    Cherise Wolas – Jun 07, 2010

    LA,
If you are trying to "follow" others - go to THEIR wall, and underneath THEIR name and photo on the far left is the follow bar, and beneath that is the email bar. Click the follow bar, and presto.

    Lillian Ann Slugocki – Jun 07, 2010

still trying to figure out how I get those follow bars under my name--- any advice, greatly appreciated.

    Lillian Ann Slugocki – Jun 07, 2010

Dear Michelle, it is a wonderful community, so glad to be here.

    Michelle Elvy – Jun 06, 2010

Dear LAS -- thank you so much for your comment on Elephant. So very glad you liked it! Welcome to this great community; I will look forward to reading some of your work now too.

    Cherise Wolas – Jun 06, 2010

    LAS -

Easier to write on the person's wall you're trying to contact - just an fyi.

Go to your published story page. At the top are the bars for emailing, sharing, grouping, pdf'g. There you can send the story to your groups. If you want to follow another writer -- and that means on the main page, on the right side of the screen you can see what those writers you're following are reading or commenting upon -- go to that writer's page - just click on their name -- and underneath their name you can hit follow x, or email x.

    Cherise

    Lillian Ann Slugocki – Jun 06, 2010

Dear Cherise: Thanks for the reply. I remember seeing those bars on other writers' pages, but not on mine. How do I get them? all best, LAS and thanks again.

    Cherise Wolas – Jun 06, 2010

Just so you know, I had to ask someone those same questions!

    Cherise Wolas – Jun 06, 2010

    LA,

Under each writer's name there are bars - one for follow x person (so they become a contact o yours), and the one below - email X person. So you can send a private email to that person.

When you go onto your own published story, at the top there are options - pdf it, email it, group it -- hit group - and you can send your piece to the various groups you've joined.

    Lillian Ann Slugocki – Jun 06, 2010

I'm trying to figure out how to send a message, and whether or not you can repost stories to different groups, also how do you add to your list of contacts, any info, greatly appreciated, thanks!

    Susan Tepper – Jun 05, 2010

LA, thanks again for your comments on The Fall of Love, most appreciated
