Frankie, thanks for visiting "Snowflake 632565000012". As for your concerns, the sequel may bring us the newest brand of flakes having QR codes. So please do not have restless, sleepless nights wondering about them. They are merely next gen and probably coming in soon from the skies over French Equatorial Africa (or somewhere, I have not been given the memo yet).
Thank you for reading and commenting on Strength & Luck, Frankie. I look forward to reading your work; I don't think we "met" before here at Fictionaut. Nonnie
Frankie,
Thanks for commenting on "Strange Disconnect." Yeah, I'm a bit obsessed with the narcissist's dilemma. Haha... which makes me unique among writers, how??
D
Thanks for the comment on In Your Absence. I haven't watched Mad Men, but I'm all set to spend hours and hours in The Sopranos world for the first time as soon as I have another long stretch of being on my own. Oh the talent that's "out there."
Thanks for your comment on "When I Met Sally". Just starting out here, and yours happens to be my first comment, so I am doubly appreciative. Also: your poems make me laugh... in a good way :-)
I don't think he lets birds rent out his houses. And God knows why he puts his clean clothes in the the tub. I think he simply enjoys being an eccentric. Thanks for read & the star.
Thanks, Frankie. I think - I hope - I've got it all set up right. I'm only posting one story for now... sending Jayne out as a scout once more as I tend to do with the poor girl...
Thanks, Frankie, for tasting Hemingway Test. I've put links in the author's note of each chapter to the previous, the next and the first. My inner marketing manager tells me you'll like this, altho, admittedly this particular chapter hasn't drawn the usual mob of aficionados.
I see you made quite a splash when you started here (looking at the comments from Marcus and Jeffrey Callico above the composition window. You must've mention Gass in your first post -- or somebody did in a comment. I came to Gass after reading a piece decades ago about his feud with John Gardner. I bought "The World Within the Word", I believe it's called. Enjoyed his dry style but decided there and then never to submit so much as a shopping list to him for approval. And I haven't!
Hello again, Frankie Thank you for reading and commenting Metamorphosis. I am esp. grateful to hear about lines that worked as I'd hoped they would, so thx also for that mention.
Frankie, thank you for reading and commenting a newbie's microfiction. You want to see it in Swedish? OK. I haven't yet figured out all the options here. What is the best way to get it to you?
Thanks, Frankie for reading "The Fire Escape." And yes, there's an element of self-flagellation in Sunny. I'm glad you picked up on that. As much as I deny my Catholicism, it always creeps into my work.
thanks much for the lovely comment on "life during wartime." it meant alot to me. as subtext-level experiment i was running with this piece had to do with the effects of introducing a proper name into it (i don't usually work with them)...the steps that separate the main character from the band frank s. are there, you have to know to look for them. which is interesting to me. mostly, "he" is a voice. pleased you enjoyed the piece. and thanks again for the lovely comment.
Hi, Frankie. Thanks for reading 'Assiduity Nine.' I appreciate your comment and fav and, in answer to your question, I have added links to the story page in the Author's Note.
Frankie, thanks for the love on "Welcome to the Occupation." I suspect Mark was still around for the evacuation last night, but Carly and the others went back to Toledo.
dug your fish poem. nostalgia! i used to heart inventing characters and developing social media accounts for them -- a man stuck in the branches of an apple tree or a robot that enjoys digging holes and collecting wicker furniture. i befriended a boat and a toaster, and we collaborated on ms paint drawings. good times! ;)
Just to make it official; all rights and privileges pertaining to "wolverine poets" are officially yours including use of the designation as you see fit/ There are no others with standing.
I submitted a story for your book of poems and flash/ stories for Japan today. I hope you like it. Of course, I am open to edits and suggestions, too. Thanks so much for this enormous undertaking. Best to you and Lou on the book.
Hi, Frankie. Thanks for reading 'Made in Japan.' I appreciate your efforts with 'New Sun Rising: Stories for Japan.' Your encouraging comments and fav are also greatly appreciated.
Oh heavens, I didn't mean to say anyone was rude! I'll be honest, I find writing "thank you thank you" on 10 people's walls a bit of a nuisance, while at the same time I'm really grateful they took the time to read and comment. Just some people probably do get their noses bent out of shape (I'm not one of them!).
william gass, not a mean or mediocre writer, has confessed to a similar motivation to write, i just read that the other day in the book by betsy lerner for editing writers...i welcome you to fictionaut and i'm looking forward to your work, frankie. i do admire the speed with which you responded to the japan disaster & i'm looking forward to seeing "new sun rising" come to live. this is a special place with space for many talents and views, i think. shake 'em up.

Thanks, Frankie. Nice to be here x
Thanks for reading 'November 6th', Frankie.
My wall is on and ready for your spray paint :)
thanks for the welcome, Frank
Thanks for your comment on my story Wishing Fountain. The drinking reference was an afterthought - I'm glad I included it!
I feel like 4 months with no wall graffiti is an unacceptable affront of some kind.
Frankie, thanks for visiting "Snowflake 632565000012". As for your concerns, the sequel may bring us the newest brand of flakes having QR codes. Thanks for the note on "Old or Fat." For once I made a decent title.

Hello, Frankie.
thanks much for the lovely comment on "life during wartime." it meant alot to me. as subtext-level experiment i was running with this piece had to do with the effects of introducing a proper name into it (i don't usually work with them)...the steps that separate the main character from the band frank s. are there, you have to know to look for them. which is interesting to me. mostly, "he" is a voice. pleased you enjoyed the piece. and thanks again for the lovely comment.
Hi, Frankie. Thanks for reading 'Assiduity Ten.' I greatly appreciate your astute comment.
Just wanted to let you know that I agree with you about my story not making any sense.
Thanks so much for your comment on No Sanctuary.
I agree. Lifetime is dangerous, putting a lot of bad ideas in the heads of women with a lot of time on their hands.
