Before going back to school, I worked in the film industry and the bar business, in communications and in politics. I have traveled many roads in the Eastern half of the country, and hope to begin to do the same in the Western half.
My poetry and fiction have been published in numerous literary journals and my critical work has appeared in publications such as The Arthur Miller Journal. I have written extensively on trauma and PTSD, and earned a Masters with distinction in English and Creative Writing. My masters thesis consisted of pages from my novel in progress, which I would very much like to complete this year.
I am also a journalist who writes about many things, in particular about contaminated Department of Defense sites for Beacon Reader.
My goal for the rest of my life is to only do the work that keeps me up at night.
