About Me

Wide-eyed post-grad dude, 23 year-old writer and journalist. I eat apples whole. I'm an advocate for going with the flow, dining for the joy of it, and living vicariously through dogs.

In my professional life, I am a writer and journalist in the New York area. For those who have ventured here from the professional sphere of my life, note that the nature of this page is creative, and that should be taken as so. A lot of people recommend never sharing a creative writing page with anyone in your professional life, but I feel it is representative of a lot of what makes me an effective writer, so I like it out in the open. I hope you feel the same.

Whoever you are, enjoy your stay. I hope you like what you read.

Why do you write?

People, and what they do under pressure.

Any favorite authors? Books?

Special mention for "The Cheese Monkeys" by Chip Kidd - I loved it, goodness do I miss reading that for the first time.

I'm very fond of Aesop's fables, "Beloved" by Toni Morrision, and The Iliad. Goosebumps doesn't hurt either.

This being said, my favorite book will always be the one I haven't opened yet.
