    I'm 32 years old—living in New York City. I sit next to my open window and listen to the moon scrape across the tips of adjacent buildings and on good night, my own. I like beer more than soda and soda less than water.

    Why do you write?

    I'm inspired by neon signs. Deep sea fish that glow in the depths. Mixtapes on cassette. Pretty girls who can type at high speed and drive shitty cars that may or may not catch on fire.
