Thank you for the welcome comment on my page! Yes, being young and already knowing I want to be in the writing world is pretty great, it gives me so much to look forward to. I'm so glad I am a part of fictionaut!
Thanks for the kind words on my recent post. That's awesome you're in Point! I didn't know anyone in the literary community was so close. We should definitely grab a beer sometime. Let me know.
Matt, Thanks for your comments on Fourth World. Appreciated. Of yours I read up from Chickenshit to Daisies then skipped to Baghdad. You get a little dark yourself here and there. Good luck in you quest to write. I took a turn away from it once and it took a long time to get back. Cheers Larry
Last line in Caprice did you mean brake lights?
Matt, thank you for finding "Rock, Roll, et al," and hearing smooth within the choppy. Hard to know, you know, sometimes after much rendering. I know Point Pleasant! Wonderful. Well, mostly the antique shops I know, strange to say. A fav escape, going there.
Thanks for your warm welcome, Matthew, and for reading and commenting on "while we sleep." I've enjoyed reading about your career aspirations and wish you the best of luck. Also, I second your taste in authors. Take care -- Quenby
Hi, Matt! Thanks for stopping by and for being intrigued. Your profile is equally intriguing. After dipping into screenwriting, myself (without the success you had) and writing my own fiction, I too am now writing book jacket copy, writing some pages/chapters for non-fic self/help books (ghostwriting company), and will soon be editing children's books. How strange. :) But, it's fun, and like you say, it's challenging. Different every day, too, which is a bonus. I don't know about any brass ring, though. I'll just have to read more about yours.
Matt, Many thanks for reading and commenting on 'Flash'. I've been busy with day job but I just went back and edited it at last. Now have a break so looking forward to reading your pieces very soon. Cheers,

Matt, thank you for reading Tea w/Mrs. Doyle and for encouragement to reprise the characters...i've got a rough draft on another story...started to feel like chapters, so maybe's there's something there. Your "About Me" is a great story too!
Thanks for reading and commenting on The Knocker. Glad you enjoyed it. Read your bio. Very interesting. I thought about being a screenwriter, but never got the opportunity. Partly my fault. I could never settle down anywhere. That's changing, though. I'm working on my MFA next year and really psyched about it. And hopefully I'll try living in a place longer than 2 years at a time.
You must log in to write on Matt DeVirgiliis's wall.
