About Me
I'm a stay-at-home mom to three children, ages 11, 9, and 6, and I also love to write. I write everything but focus mostly on flash.
I'm editor of a rebellious collection of flash fiction, Stipped, a Collection of Anonymous Flash Fiction due out from PS Books, a division of Philadelphia Stories, in spring, '12. Authors' bios will be included at the end of the book, but names won't be matched to pieces until one year later at my website. Will you be able to determine authorial gender?
Writing Awards I've won:
62nd Annual Philadephia Writers' Conference, 2010, First Prize for Flash Fiction, First Prize for Literary Short Story, and First Prize for Creative Nonfiction.
61st Annual Philadelphia Writers' Conference, 2009, Second Prize for Literary Short Story and Second Prize for Poetry.
I have work in or forthcoming from these journals:
Bartleby Snopes, Flashfiction.net., Storyglossia, Philadlephia Stories, PANK, DOGZPLOT, Ramshackle Review, Used Furniture Review, Camroc Press Review, Foundling Review, Short, Fast, and Deadly, 50 to 1, Long Story Short, Literary Mama, Six Sentences Review(Print), The Molotov Cocktail, and Negative Suck, and FlashFiction.net, the blog of the Journal of Compressed and Creative Arts.
I'm a contributor the Philadelphia Stories WebBlog via my blogsite.
I blog regularly about flash fiction and other literary topics at
www . writenic.wordpress.com I love visitors.
