Thanks for reading my work, Lauren. And, I appreciate any comments you leave.
I understand your thoughts/questions about poetry. I'm trying to write - or insinuate... whatever the best term is - flash fiction. Lost ball in high weeds for me. But, I'm putting words on the page.
nice, nice piece in opium. the 145-day wait is assuredly worth it! just invited you to my workshoppy private group. it's invite only so things posted there shouldn't be considered public (and thus arguably published) as they could be viewed in the workshop group.
i got it, barry. not too many nots. i feel there is a theme of strange good comments on your wall, lauren, and i don't want to screw that up. sam pink wants to hug you and sit in your lap. so does meg pokrass. barry graham asked a zen-like question about favorite writers. and i want to steal your work, which maybe is less strange and more just reasonable, i don't know. this is fun.
There is a hi-lar-ious lap-sitting dialogue going on here! Who knew? Had I known, I would have come sooner. :) Just stopping by to say hi and that you are a hep cat, lady! I need to call you. xoxo, H
Yep,I'm an idiot and I did confuse my reactions/responses to two correspondents and I can't believe I did that. (It's a first for me.)Your work is profoundly different from just about anything and profound to boot. Nice of you to be so nice about it.
hey i just realized i met you at awp. you are nice. thanks for being nice to me. i wanted to sit in your lap and give you a hug but some people hit me when i do that.
edamame. I can't have sushi without having a side of that. weird, huh?
Lauren, thank you so much for your generous close-reading of House-Sitter. Much appreciated!
this story braught back my teen age memories. So nice. thanks
Welcome to the Prick of the Spindle group! You should go start some mayhem over there. The good kind of mayhem.

Hey Lauren! I didn't even know this place existed until last night when a PANK submitter sent me an invitation. But now, I'm on board. Yay!

"favorite writers don’t have to be on lists to be favorites. would you please write something not weird on my wall sometime?"
you don't not have to write something not weird on someone's wall for it to not actually be not weird. is that too many nots or did you get it?
if a writers name appears on your favorite authors list. what has to happen in order for them to be removed? did they write something horrible?
Thanks Lauren for your comments on Punch Patty. I'm glad you laughed!
thanks lauren. my fictionaut activity will skyrocket come summertime when i get back from europe and life returns to normal. congrats on five star!
Hi Lauren,
Thanks so much for taking the time to read "Cracking Open" and to comment. See you soon!
ok ok, something's up now -- would have earlier but i've been playing host to many visiting persons for the past two weeks, kept me busy
Thanks for the nice comments on my story, Lauren. I used to drive a blue car too. And I still like edamame.

meg -- you can sit on my lap at awp, though you apparently might have to fight sam p for it ... does this mean you're promising to go?!
