Also, I scored a review copy of Fog Gorgeous Stag from Adam Ronbinson at the Buffalo Small Press Book Fair this weekend and I have to say this shit looks crazy and awesome.
I'm the REAL SUSAN TEPPER AND I'M GONNA GET YOU... who is the imposter posing on your blog?????????????????????
I'm the REAL DEAL (beware of facsimiles)
Sean -- I just wandered over and read your story, To Be Happy, at Juked. Made me cringe, smile, wonder. Then I went and read it again. Really enjoyed it, especially that whole last paragraph.
thanks for favouriting my writing ... it's been a while since but despite of the typos you looked at the content. I appreciate it! I will soon read your work here
Your comment on "The Nightly Dance" took me by surprise. Not only did it say that it kicked some ass, but it also mentioned Yeats. This is perhaps the first time in my life I have been brave enough to share my writing on a large and completely public scale (since being possessed by something to teach myself penmanship at the age of three so I could record my stories), so the fact that I'm getting some positive feedback is, well, somewhat overwhelming. Again, thank you.
hey, now. I'm from Indiana, too (!). Grew up near Sugar Creek (Crawfordsville), speaking of "moving water." Small river. Lew Wallace, who grew up around there, called it "the most beautiful place on earth," and I agree.
Thanks so much for the comment! I am not too worried about publishing...although it would be fun. In future revisions and rewrites I will play with the placement of tension as you suggested.
Thank you, Sean!
