About Me

I'm an artist/housewife/witch/writer with a pet tortoise, a calico cat who prefers my husband, a 150lb dog & an 8lb dog who goes almost everywhere with me due to both of our somewhat crippling anxiety. Very into coffee, lady grey tea, floral smells, hot baths with coconut oil, dry shampoo, Adobe Lightroom, ballet, houseplants, etc. Trying to experiment with different artistic mediums while still keeping up writing/photography (my two main mediums). I own a crystal ball, tarot cards, a murderous beta fish named Ghost, many cozy thrift shop sweaters, 3 camera lenses, too many different types of incense sticks & a lot of photo albums. I have lost count of my tattoos. Sometimes I become agoraphobic & don't leave the house for weeks at a time but I get a lot done while I'm shut in. I live with numerous chronic physical & mental illnesses.

I want to do everything with less fear.

I visit Fictionaut infrequently these days, saw your question about reading your manuscript and would be happy to do so, if you can live with my notes. If you email it strattnerlarry@gmail I'll print, annotate and send it back. Covers of all my novels are on Amazon so you can get my drift. I don't believe I've ever written anything "serious" for fictionaut. I too am afraid at times and have pursued various nutso things to overcome it. It's possible I can't constructively comment on your manuscript (we do not share authors read in common.) If there is any problem I will be able to tell you why. Larry S

K--Thanks for the fave on Sylvia Plath foreclosure. I have a son at Wash U., and my mother, father and in-laws all came from St. Louis. I recently came across a punk rock song from the 80s--"St. Louis Sucks"--but I always wished I'd grown up there.
