    Why do you write?

    been writing always. all through other careers. have made some sales and that keeps me going. about 5 hrs. a day. afternoons at Starbucks. was shocked, shocked, i tell you when Houghton Mifflin published my novel PANAMA last sept. as Young Adult. what could i do? so now i've written what i think really is a teen book. i wonder. hmmm.
