Mary Miller – Nov 11, 2009

Hey, Corey--
Sorry I've been out of touch. How is everything? What's the news?
mm

Shya Scanlon – Oct 13, 2009

Thanks for note, Corey. I'll certainly check out your work.

Molly Tolsky – Oct 11, 2009

Indeed, Jeffrey McDaniel does teach at SLC. I'm not in the poetry program, so I won't have him as a teacher, but I heard him read at a faculty reading and he was really great.

Margaret LaFleur – Oct 10, 2009

Hey Corey-

25 does seem like a good age for big changes, especially the grown up kind. If only willpower were the gift the universe delivered for the occasion! I'm not finding that to be too true, unfortunately, but maybe it's just lost in the mail.

I enjoy your writing and am glad were Ficionaut friends!

Mike Young – Oct 10, 2009

Hey Corey! Yeah, Magic Helicopter is something I started up by myself a few years ago. It is fun. Hope you are doing well!

Claudia Smith – Oct 09, 2009

Well, for five dollars - the cost of a fancy cup of coffee, with tip - you can at least put the chapbook in your lap.

Kevin Fanning – Oct 09, 2009

I'm basically chilling. What is happening.

Matt Bell – Oct 09, 2009

Thanks for the post, Corey! While I have not yet become a verb, I have been very active, so I suppose I'm on my way. Things are good here, and I hope the same with you. I'm looking forward to reading more of your work soon-- Didn't you just have something come out online?

Sean Ferrell – Oct 09, 2009

Corey, not cold enough to get numb yet, though for some reason I can't wait.
-Sean

Valerie O'Riordan – Oct 09, 2009

Hey, thanks Corey! The MA's going well so far (though I haven't been workshopped yet, gulp) - I'm blogging about it at www.not-exactly-true.co.uk. You've got a dead impressive list of publications up there, I'll be checking them out!

Valerie

Robert Peake – Oct 09, 2009

Hey Corey--nice to "meet" you.

Kathy Fish – Oct 09, 2009

Hey you're back. Hi Corey!

CT – Mar 01, 2009

Hey Corey,
Thanks for the note on my page a few months back and sorry to not have looked you up sooner. I've been busy with my new baby, as I see you have been too. Congrats on papahood. Hope you're all feeling fabulous.
Best,
c

mary postal – Feb 27, 2009

hello! cute baby!

David Erlewine – Feb 09, 2009

Hey Corey, my pleasure. I had just now commented on your newest when I saw your message. I thought this dude is quick! Ha, I can see I've loved two of yours now. Man, very inspiring work...nothing at all like I write (which is partly why it's so great for me to read it I think).

sam pink – Feb 09, 2009

hey man.

Katrina Gray – Feb 06, 2009

Well, well, well...I see by your pic that fatherhood has arrived! Many warm congratulations!

Katrina

Amanda Nazario – Feb 01, 2009

Haven't been here in a while, so I *just* saw the comment you left back in November! I'm a stoop. Sorry. Anyway, yes, an anthology of writers' kid stories would be awesome. Do I really have to edit it myself?

Amanda

PS: "At the Bar" was great guns

Molly Gaudry – Nov 23, 2008

Hi Corey,

Lotsa people here writing on your profile page. Thanks for commenting about "The Sky..."

Hope you're well,
M.

Mary Miller – Nov 22, 2008

Thanks for reading my stories, Corey!
My, you are prolific and young (I mean
this as a total compliment).

Tom Lombardi – Nov 21, 2008

Hey Corey! Thanks for the kind words! I look forward -- and backwards -- to reading your work.

Jessica West – Nov 19, 2008

Hi Corey, Thanks for the note.Yes! Lou was Delmore's student at Syracuse, and dedicated a few songs to him!...I wish more people knew about him and his life. I'm going to read your posted stories shortly!... all best, Jessica

aimée laberge – Nov 19, 2008

Hey, Corey. Thanks for the note... I think I am writing an encyclopedic, as in massive and protracted, post-modern, as in information-based but tragic, story about snow and ice. Hoping to post some ice cores soon on Fictionaut!

Steven Wingate – Nov 18, 2008

HI Corey. Nice list of pubs there—hope it keeps rolling for you. Parenthood is pretty amazing; I’ve got a 3.5 and 1.5 year old (both boys) and it has shifted my writing time a lot. Have to fight for the hours/minutes. On the other hand, I screw around far less—no time to waste any more! Good luck with that adventure.—Steve

Rachel Yoder – Nov 17, 2008

Hi Corey,
In answer to your question, that would be a giant fork. It was hanging on the wall in the apartment where I was at dinner. I used it to eat my dessert. So...yeah?

J. A. Tyler – Nov 17, 2008

cz.

thanks for the wall note.

peter markus' BOB, OR MAN ON BOAT is phenomenal. I cannot recommend it enough. and yes, it does have men & mud, etc.

and good call on the motorman - I have read it and did love it.

best in all,

Tania Hershman – Nov 17, 2008

Hi Corey,
thanks so much for your message, glad you liked my story. It's part of my new collection (quick and subtle promotional plug!), The White Road and other stories, http://www.thewhiteroadandotherstories.com/. If you want more, that's a great place to start! I haven't quite worked out how to use Fictionaut, haven't posted anything here yet, but I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Tania

Gail Siegel – Nov 17, 2008

Hi Corey -

You guessed right. I'm the one in the middle in the purple and blue dress.

Are you in the Snovigate anthology? I'm in there, too. And my story is actually called "The Telemarketer's Point of View." I hope you get a kick out of it. I will look for your work!

-Gail

Greg Gerke – Nov 16, 2008

You are rolling my friend.

Avital Gad-Cykman – Nov 15, 2008

Hi Corey. Keep singing...

Jennifer Plesko – Nov 15, 2008

Wow! Thanks! Now if only I can get organized enough to actually write some fiction.

Ben Somers – Nov 15, 2008

Honestly, I don't know when Wolverine wouldn't kick some ass. I used to not be a big fan of him but ever since the Ultimate stuff I think he's great. And yes, The Walking Dead is great. I'm working on a comic right now that's a supernatural thriller. I was talking to an editor at Vertigo, so hopefully something happens with it. (fingers crossed!!).

Scott Garson – Nov 14, 2008

thanks for saying so, Corey... this makes me happy....

Brian Beatty – Nov 14, 2008

Hope you enjoy the McS jokes. As soon as I can get the story posting function to work, I plan to toss up some longer humorous prose here. As inept as I am with computers, it could be years.

Lydia Copeland – Nov 14, 2008

Thanks for the kind words Corey. Congratulations on the little one to come. How exciting!

Myfanwy Collins – Nov 13, 2008

Hello Corey!

Marcy Dermansky – Nov 13, 2008

Thanks for your extremely kind words. Look forward to reading more of yours.

Marcy

Molly Gaudry – Nov 13, 2008

Hello, rightbackatcha, and congrats on the baby.

Forrest Roth – Nov 11, 2008

Appreciate the kudos, Corey. Keep up the good work yourself and get to Buffalo soon. Maybe the Lady in White will join us for a pint.

Cooper Renner – Nov 08, 2008

Corey, how very kind you are. I'm very pleased to hear that you still enjoy 'elimae' and hope that enjoyment continues! Have a great weekend.

Claudia Smith – Nov 07, 2008

Babies are beautiful! In my experience, many of them like to be bundled. At least, at first they do.

Katrina Gray – Nov 05, 2008

Wow. You're email was so kind. It was my pleasure to give you "advice" on home birth, which really turned out to be more of a made-for-tv-movie expression of emotion. I rambled, but you were still receptive. What a fantastic journey you and your girlfriend are on! Again, congratulations.

--Katrina

Utahna Faith – Nov 02, 2008

Doing well; thanks, Corey. Hey, congratulations! When do you become a daddy?

Kim Chinquee – Nov 01, 2008

Corey, thanks. I think we are reading together in Buffalo--yes, you are reading right? I do know about the bubble man you mentioned!

kate hill cantrill – Oct 26, 2008

Thanks for the compliment on Dear England, Corey! I'm looking forward to reading some of your work. -- kate

Darlin' Neal – Oct 26, 2008
