What Would Keith Richards Do? (Bloomsbury)
Lipstick (St. Martins)
YA novel for next year.
I don't know.
William Faulkner's "The Sound and the Fury"
Bruno Schulz' "Street of Crocodiles"
JD Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye"
Bob Dylan's "Chronicles"
Louise Fitzhugh's "Harriet the Spy"
Louis Malle, Billy Wilder, Harold Pinter, Delmore Schwartz, Gerard de Nerval, Robert Walser, Robt Louis Stevenson, Sam Shep
I love Bruno Schulz's "Street of Crocodiles"! There's also a short stop-motion animation (The Brothers Quay, 1986)adaptation of the book, which doesn't do too badly rendering the same sort of creepy strangeness...though I do sort of remember noting the considerable distance between the two, it's still worth digging around for.
Also, Happy Birthday.
Since my friend Bob Eckstein actually gave you his phone number I figure you must be someone to read but where are your stories and poems? I need inspiration!Although that picture is mesmerizing.
great pix, great hat, jessica; tres dr. zhivago...
I also like Delmore Schwartz. Wasn't he Lou Reed's teacher.
Now I'm going to have "Sweet Jane" stuck in my head all night.
atonement in progress... to be continued!
