    I have published two novels, Forgive the Moon and The Opposite SHore, and a chapbook of poetry and flash fiction, Electric Urgency.

    I love--and fear for the fate of--the natural world. I garden, take photographs, paint and meditate whenever I am able.

    Why do you write?

    my dreams, my relationships, my passions, my questions, my troubles and joys and desires fuel my creativity. I write because I am moved to do so. I really don't know why.

    Any favorite authors? Books?

    so much depends on state of mind...but Shakespeare, John Donne, Andrew Marvell, Emily Bronte, William Butler Yeats, James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, T.S.Eliot and so many thereafter
