About Me

Author of the novels: LOST EXIT and NINE IN THE MORNING, as well as two books in the Fight Card series: FIGHT CARD: HARD ROAD, and FIGHT CARD: CAN'T MISS CONTENDER. My latest novel STILL BLACK REMAINS was published by Literary Wanderlust LLC in 2017.

My short stories have been featured in publications ranging from The Literary Review to The Foundling Review, Word Riot, and A Twist of Noir, and I have been nominated for two separate Pushcart Prizes. I was the Features Writer for The Bergen News and Press Journal, and other non-fiction articles under my own name have been included in publications ranging from the NYTimes.com, the Life/Style section of The Boston Globe, to the TriCity News.

Writer - Surfer - Badass ...... It's a New Jersey thing: attitude, edginess, and Bruce Springsteen... and sometimes even Bon Jovi but only on a good day. I left the Garden State (New Jersey) to live and work in a small college town in the foothills of the Appalachians with my wife Helen and an assortment of pets.

Specialties: Writing, freelance assignments, editing, screenwriting, and solving world problems without waiting to be asked.

Why do you write?

It's that desire - that itch that needs to be scratched.
