I've always enjoyed words. I listen to the lyrics in songs. I read the cereal box. I've read from an early age and somewhere along the line I decided to give it a try myself.
James Lee Burke and Tim Dorsey are favorites that I read everything they put out. Red Grass River, A Legend by James Carlos Blake was outstanding. There are so many others though, any list would be incomplete. I like Steinbeck, Hemingway and Maugham. Or there's Elmore Leonard, Kurt Vonnegut, Kinky Friedman. I really like Rupert Thomson...should I go on?
