About Me

I live in Massachusetts with my wife and kids, where I am an MFA candidate in Fiction at the Program for Poets and Writers at UMass, Amherst. I also teach English composition to nineteen year olds. My fiction has been published or soon will be in journals such as: Waccamaw, Keyhole, Avery Anthology, PANK, Hobart, Spork, elimae, Smokelong, Swink, Necessary Ficiton, Opium, Quick Fiction, Bullfight Review, Eyeshot, JMWW, The Lifted Brow, Best of the Web 2010 and others. I'm one of the webeds at Hobart.

Why do you write?

Because I like to sit around in my underpants.
