About Me

I am a junior in the BFA fiction program at Columbia College. My work has been published in Word Riot, Storyglossia, decomP, Monkeybicycle, Emprise Review, and Knee-Jerk Magazine. I've recently been nominated for 2010's Best of the Web. I am the web editor of Monkeybicycle. I have taken a break from writing and submitting short stories to focus on writing a bad novel.

Why do you write?

I write because I'm not particularly good at anything else.

Any favorite authors? Books?

I heart Douglas Coupland.

How 'bout David Foster Wallace or Neil Gaiman? Although Douglas is quite inventive and fun to read.
