The "appetite for stillness" may be the only holy one. *
is it really an appetite for stillness though or just a pause until enough energy is built up to continue with the hunger pursuit? *
"I become the accumulation / of appetites" must be the perfect phrase. *
Loaded with meaning.*
This poem is a perfect small thing. "when the appetite for stillness overcomes the others" is the most comforting thought I've had in a while.
This is meditation. ***
