About Me

I've done everything possible in the newspaper business, am now a magazine editor, and I've been a weekend artist since 2001. I'm married with dog -- to another career writer (not the dog). I'm left of center, smoke, drink, snore, and I'm a bridge player. I weigh more than my IQ, but then I'm pushing the big 5-0. I miss bacon and smoked sausage made from animals without wings.

Why do you write?

My triggers are usually visual. I write because I must.
