Do things you normally wouldn't even consider doing

Buy a book of poems, drink some soup

Check your empty spam folder

Just in case someone didn't forget you

Go home early and late in the same day

 

Get out of bed because you want to

Make payments at the shareholders meeting of the Absurd

And help support my attempts at being funny

You can do that by being present

At the beginning of laughter and time

 

You can tell your doctor the truth

Even if no one else will stop and listen

He or she may have a balm for it

To help make it go away

Or at least go into remission

Remission is the staging area for Lies

Corporate and otherwise

 

We don't have to go on a spaceship to enter another era

Religion will help you do that

Religion will help you do almost anything

You normally wouldn't do

It can even make you regular

 

If my tongue appears to be stuck in my cheek
