If only! I'll still be in Georgia. Hope it's a blast for everyone who attends!
Yup!
Photos and video, please? I will be teaching third graders how to play with poetry and college students how to NOT play with words. Hope it's a blast.
Michael Dickes I assume you mean Cherise too!
Gosh darnit! I'm missing it...but will be there in provocation :)
I will be there if my plan comes off at the last moment; otherwise not until Oct. I hope to see everyone.

Still juggling time and $$$ (hubbers was just revoked from his pulpit, so woe is us). I'll need to train up and find a bunk, so exploring the financial implications of those. Peace...
Gloria cannot wait to see you!!!

More people coming: Bill Yarrow and entourage, Tina Barry, Bill & Kate Lantry, Roberto Garcia, Linda Simoni-Wastila (hopefully), Alex Pruteanu (hopefully), Doug Holder, Tim Gager, and many more.....
You people best take an assload of pictures and video. I am extremely jealous that I can't be there, but I do like to live vicariously. Humor me.
Joani, we will miss you terribly!!!
More to add to the party: Cherise Wolas and Michael Dickes (the first Fictionauts to meet on this site and get Married!!!)
Danny Goodman has set up an EVENT PAGE for this party (on facebook) so you can go there and click to come. Or just show up! There will be a book table for anyone who has a book to sell!
Helen Vitoria (ed/pub Thrush Poetry Magazine) will be coming!!!
The Fictionaut Party continues to heat up, so come to the party and bring a flash or poem or just come to drink and party and have fun with friends!!!
Congrats to Michael and Cherise!
Yes, it's lovely that Michael and Cherise got married through this site. Others have gotten divorced through this site. Fictionaut is proving to be a microcosm (spell?) of the real world. Jurgen has started an interesting experiment here.
It's exciting that so many Fictionauters I've long admired will be in attendance at the KGB Summer Bash. Kudos to Susan for bringing all of us together. Hoping to make it to provide loud and enthusiastic support from the bleachers!
You can read something from your new book too, Ms. Innis? C'mon, if I do, you have to, too! YAY! This is going to be one helluva party!
I'm coming. Well, I'll try to come. Coming is hard from Long Island.
Wait. That don't sound right.
What's the chance of a Fictionaut newbee getting to read? I reads well and I'm nice. I don't have to go first.
It'll be nice to have another New Orleanian in the house.
Bleachers only, I promise!
Should be a great time. My best to everyone.
Wish you could come, Sam!
Me too. I hope I can be there.
Cheers to you all, hope to see you... have a blast!
some of you have asked. Thank you, i so hope to be there.
Yeah, it is very possible!
Have a frequent flier and may stay with some great friends, who could miss this? However, there is some family health stuff going on with relatives in Southern Cal, so will have to play this totally by ear...
Matt and Christopher as honored guests? I am so sorry to miss this. I hope you all have a ball.
I hope everyone has a blast. Stuff's come up at home so I will not be in there in person but definitely present in spirit.
Someone tape it? Please? Peace...
Meg it would be wonderful to have you and Doug at the party, after all, we've been friends on this site a long time and meeting in person would help clear the air, which I am so in favor of! Hope to see you both at the event!
I'll be there, staying at the Larchmont. If anyone else has reservations there, let me know, and we can walk or cab to the KGB together. In fact, if anyone wants to meet for a drink ahead of the gathering, in the neighborhood of the Larchmont (27 W. 11th St.) or KGB, I'm up for it. I was thrilled to find out that Sunday Salon is having their reading at Jimmy's the next evening. Two nights I get to see y'all. So excited.
Ann, Gloria Mindock is staying there, you might want to messg her.
Yes, we'll be there, and like Ann pointed out, the next night too, and Michael will be playing at the Sunday Salon... really looking forward to meeting everyone, and seeing again those I have met!
So looking forward to seeing everyone!!!
Since people have written me asking about the OPEN MIC, just want to clarify that each reader gets 3 minutes to read a flash or poem. If there is time left, you can read a second time around. I expect it crowded, and want every voice that wants to be heard, to have the opportunity.
Party is THIS SATURDAY!!!
SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ya'll have fun; one day I hope to make it to one of these.
In your honor, friends, a bunch of us at home may have a virtual reading! Sort of like the Virtual AWP! Have a great one!
Ah, you're not coming? I was looking forward to meeting you, Meg. Another time! :)
I'll be writing that day.
Happy reading. That's a great gathering. My best to you all.
We will miss you, one and all! Have a great weekend!!! xoxo
Meg that is incredibly sweet! Next time, hopefully!!!
Sam, would love to see you too, perhaps another party!!!
Jane, Roswell-gal-pal,wish you were coming too!!!
TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They rejected my plasma upon attempts to blue light special it and so NYC might as well be the planet Jupiter for me at this point. I can't figure that...I thought I had great plasma. It felt good inside me. Felt strong and worth something at least. Just goes to show you the plasma pawn shop is fickle and can never be trusted. Have fun, good people. Read, listen, find truth in the literature you share and read. There is no other place it can be found, so rare a thing it is.
