welcome back! how was th this year? anyone stomp out in rage this time? did you have to buy a book to attend the class? jk. seriously, who was your faculty leader? peace...
Hey Thomas, thanks for reading and commenting on Bookends I and II. Call it the sandwich generation. I'm gonna sound like a shrink, but why did that one section make you laugh? Interesting reaction (and hey, anytime my writing gets any reaction is a good thing).
GREs? Making the MFA plunge? Shorts are good; I like the two you posted here (still reading Rex). I've churned out quite a few shorts and poems this past year, much to PURE's detriment. Though I hope to have a complete first draft by the end of this weekend. Fingers crossed.
I was in Boston this past week, day job conference, and Rachel was giving a reading Monday night but alas, I couldn't get over to Cambridge. Bummer. We've been in touch, they were recruiting me for their program but then my dad got very sick again and that sort of ate up the year.
I THINK you're the same Thomas from Lesley last summer? The beard, the snow throw me. If yes, hey! If not, hey! And how's your second novel going? Peace...
Yo, Thomas. I finally got around to reading Project X. Shepard is the Man. If you get a chance, pick up Jonathan Carroll's The Wooden Sea. I think you'd like it.
Hi Thomas. Thanks for commenting on my story. My computer had not been loving this site, but I think I've figured out the problem and will be around more in the future. I look forward to reading your work!
Thomas, I've posted a revised version of my TH first chapter in the Novel Excerpts group. Let me know what you think.
