Very strong, sudden deepening in the last four lines.
This captures the contrast of inner feelings and outside actions. And that guy is an Asshole.
Thanks for the comments Everyone. Jaime, you got it- in addition, the speaker is judging the asshole just as she resents being judged by him. In addition, this deals with the pervasiveness of Fat self-image. No matter how confident and comfortable in your skin you try to be, it takes little provocation to spiral into shame and wish for invisibility.
