Experimental

Two young girls, pre-pubescent probably,

have locked themselves in the bathroom

at the café, and two older men are trying to

be patient, waiting for them to come out.

 

They try shifting their weight from foot to foot,

but the girls aren't coming out and are in there

having the time of their lives, while the two old men

are growing more and more impatient.

 

Maybe the young girls are homeless?

But no, more likely they are experimental

with their new found freedom and youth

and will come out when they are ready.

 

Maybe when they are satisfied with themselves.

Occasionally they can be heard either giggling,

or maybe more like gasping for breath. The two old men

now jumping up and down with anticipation.
