WRECKED
by Adam Sifre
There are always reasons,
and I always understand.
Because in this world, someone always breaks,
and someone always does the breaking,
If there's a difference, I don't see it.
There's an ebb and flow to movie relationships,
and through it all, love returns.
In the movies.
In life, I've found it to be a vortex.
A whirlpool,
where two bodies try to hold on for as long as they can,
until one decides to let go.
There are always reasons,
and I always understand,.
The two great lies in my life.
The vortex. Yes.
The last lines really show the crack the narrator is trying to deny. "*"
"until one decides to let go." This line emphasizes the "There are always reasons," since reason matters so much and yet so little really.
Our beginnings never know our ends.
Absolutely.*
