    I am on a high this morning (Australian time) having had one of my short stories accepted by the Boston Literary Magazine. It may not be The New Yorker, but it is one of the few magazines that make an effort to let you know if you have had a near miss - and telling you what they liked, or did not like about your work. I do understand how lots of editors are snowed under, or have another job to juggle (sorry about the clichés) but sometimes it’s great to have some feedback.
    (My first story was rejected, but so nicely that I was happy about that, and totally agreed with what they said.)
    I have been working with one of their editors, Robin (who has been wonderful) tweaking my accepted story, which will be published in the next issue. I especially love their sense of humour and the Typo Hounds are a hoot! Great stories on there too - check it out.
