    STACY BIERLEIN is the author of the forthcoming story collection, A Vacation on the Island of Ex-Boyfriends (Elephant Rock Books, 2012), and the coeditor of Men Undressed: Women Writers and the Male Sexual Experience (OV/Dzanc 2011). She is also the editor of the award-winning anthology A Stranger Among Us: Stories of Cross Cultural Collision and Connection (OV/University of Illinois Press, 2008). With Gina Frangello, she is a founding editor of Other Voices Books and the Morgan Street International Novel Series. Bierlein contributes essays about writing, publishing, and the arts to various websites, including TheNervousBeakdown.com. She lives in Southern California.
