I may be mistaken, but I think your original post placed contracts on line 2. Not sure. I like that - but that's just how I read it.

Good shift to the jellyfish in the 2nd half.

Also like your change of nothingness to void. Good move.

Enjoyed the poem's sweep of big to microscopic.

I read this differently than Sam did.

I read bell as the object of expands and universe as the subject of contracts.
The universe expands / its great bell/ then [it, the universe] contracts /[like] a jellyfish / pulsing through / a void

"a void"--a pun? Avoid? (a warning?) I expected "the void."
Interesting ambiguity there!

Suggestion: take out all the capital letters. Take out the period too. Let there be ambiguities! Let there be interpretations!

I actually got the line "expands its great bell" by looking up jellyfish anatomy online - the bell is the umbrella-shaped body of a jellyfish.

Interesting metaphor for the structure of the universe.
