Time Passed to Time Present
by Gary Hardaway
Four Quartets is a slender book which
can be read with intensity in its entirety
forty-two years ago on a gray autumn
afternoon alone in a leather chair
on the library's almost empty sixth floor
at a third tier public university in Texas.
Nice! Haha.
Nice!

Reminds me of a time I paid a visit to a library at Stanford. I was all alone. What luxury!*
Oh yes. Good one.
Ah the leather chair... Where is it now? Nice.
Such a great title for this poem. Perfect!
A unique take on perception and memory. Reminds me of Zach Schomburg.
Some books and some kisses are like that. Love the title!
Okay. Got it! Wonderful.
