You always give me lots to contemplate, Gary. *
Carpe Diem*
Great sounds - c, s, f, v - which adds, for me, a sinister layer to the poem. Nothing wasted here. Good piece, Gary.
Agree with Foster. I feel the suck.*
Oh, well. As Jen says. Yesterday's gone and tomorrow isn't here yet. Go outside and play. *
Thank you, Foster. Jen, your remark expanded my sense of my own little poem. Thank you. Sam, it is good to have a musical ear listening. Gary, the suck gets stronger daily for one reason or another hundred. Jake, your advice is quite fine.
Nice dark thing. Oppenheimer, huh? I like how such a large idea can be expressed in such a small space. Like this a lot.
*
Love the cascade of alliterative sounds in this, which intensify the falling right up to the "o" sound of the ending, so final. Boom. *
Thank you for reading and commenting, Michelle and Chris.
