Recently learned from a Irish friend's story that in Ireland the tradition is to leave Santa stout & cake--much better than our milk & cookies tradition! Somehow got me onto Santa shit-faced on Guinness stout. . . . & so that led to . . . . whatever (after a couple of glasses of Merlot on my part).
