Hello...My story "Greenland or Indonesia" is in the new issue of elimae, which went live this morning.
http://www.elimae.com/new.html
I'm still working my way through the issue but there are many lovely treats to be read there.
This is the first piece to be published from the nano sequence I've been posting here and taking back down again .
I like elimae.
Congratulations. Look forward to reading.
wonderful story, stephen. elimae has a dylexia problem. there is a typo in your title (on the story page): "indonesai". i published a story "the serious writer and her bush" in elimae a while back - and in the archive, the story is still listed as "The serious writer and her brush". so better get on their case now!
You're on a roll! Congrats!
Nice, Stephen. And much congratulations -- you ARE on a roll. Peace...
thanks very much folks.
marcus--the typo---now i see it. criminy. thanks for the heads-up.
it's cool but a little bewildering having all this stuff come out. part of me thinks: well, you've been working on this for a long time. another part of me thinks: soon, you'll wake up...
"this isn't a roll, this is it. you're only going to get bigger and better. agents will flock to you. writing will never be effortless but more and more rewarded. you'll get more and more jealous of your own talent. attempts to murder that gifted genius inside you will only result in more literature. the sooner you live the dream, mate, the stronger you'll be."
(this is part of my personal psych up speech which i'd like to share here with you and others for free perusal. lemme know if it works for you ;-)
Never wake up. Never never never! It's too much fun just going with the flow!
Congrats on the story, and the placement!
Just noticed Greg has something in there too... Congrats, Greg!
Congrats Stephen... I look forward to reading!
Yes!
Great story, Stephen, congratulations!
Congratulations.
Good for you.
Congrats! Nice story!
thanks! i'm pleased you like the story...i'd like to make an audio version sometimes that has the voice at the end repeat and repeat, gradually merging into sideband that is gradually subsumed in noise.
Congratulations, Stephen!
A huge congratulations!!!
Great show, Stephen!
