  Thank you, Gloria, Matt, and James. I'm proper chuffed. Since discovering noir is what I write, after thinking I just write odd, unpublishable, dark stuff, it's like the whole world's opened up. And meeting like-minded people on Fictionaut has been a joy.

  Thank you, Michael. Feels like I'm on a bit of a roll at the moment. Just killing time while the novel does the rounds. Never thought the shorts would bring me anything but peace of mind. Took me right back, it has, getting a few of them published. Right back :)

  And blimey, would you believe it. In the past couple of hours, have just hear my story 'Chained' has been accepted for publication by Yellow Mama, and another story 'Small Print' has been accepted for publication by 'A Twist of Noir'.

  Now that calls for a beer :)
