About Me

“Darkness that lies deep inside of me
Come forth in all thy mystery
Show me thy gaze
Teach me thy ways
That I a better person may be

Love that lies deep inside of me
Come forth in all thy unity
Let me be thy gaze
Let me teach thy ways
That I a better person may be”

Member of Retrospective Cinema

Downtown Los Angeles is my birthplace and playground. The city and my unique experiences have been the foundation for my writing and passion for storytelling. Cinema is my escape and my true love. I, also, really enjoy bike riding. Especially at night in the city.

On my road to being a director, I’ve had to become an actor. I’ve been in several theatre productions including The Laramie Project, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Joe Turner’s Come and Gone. I’ve also directed a theatre production of J.B. Priestley’s An Inspector Calls. Aside from theatre, I’ve directed and written many short films. Some award-winning, some just to satisfy my subconscious. Poetry is a passion of mine, as well. I was a part of the first annual Get Lit Classic Poetry Slam in Los Angeles, but I also write and perform my poetry in quieter settings.

Why do you write?

The world around me. The situations that I find myself in. The need to share the lessons I've learned. The chance to share something that just might change the way someone lives their life.

Any favorite authors? Books?

I can't find the time to list all of them. Apologies.
