My life. So far.
I worked in bookstores most of my adult life because I loved the smell of new books. When I became a cancer survivor in 2003, I discovered I could no longer say, “One day I will ” I learned to say, “Today I am.”
My essays and stories have appeared in a number of anthologies including the recently published “ Voices of Breast Cancer” as well as “ Something that Matters: Life, Love and Unexpected Adventures in the Middle of the Journey. ” My work has also been published in the Contra Costa Times, The Monthly, Today’s Caregiver, VerbSap, Martha Stewart.com , Intent.com, The Canadian Jewish News and The Florentine.
I write to make some sense of the world. It seems I have no choice. If I'm not writing, I'm not really living.

Thank you, Marcie, for commenting on "Pieta." It's one of my own favorites and therefore means a lot to me.
Thanks, Marcie. And welcome!
