Graphic designer, amateur illustrator, aspiring amateur writer, AIGA Jacksonville board member, and people watcher. I won a hip-hop dance battle on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and also considered guitar lessons once.
Some of the earliest contributed explorations of my creativity came from countless times of staring off into clouds passing over while lying in the middle of a field, creating images in my imagination. The same goes for the sprayed popcorn texture on the ceiling above my bunk bed. In elementary school I would find myself scolded often by my teachers for not paying attention, staring out of the window off into the horizon. It was only natural to start taking my introspective distractions in the direction of illustration, typography, graphic design, and to some degree toward writing — attempting at least.
A favorite book for me would be Hunter S. Thompson's The Rum Diary for its biting and energetically descriptive narrative juxtaposed a darkly lighthearted story. Thompson is one of my most inspirational writers.
