About Me

I am a law student, a poet, and occasional spinner of fiction. Much, but not all, of my poetry is of a speculative/SF/F/H bent. I like to write poems about monster girls and sympathetic Devils. My work has appeared in Apex Magazine, Goblin Fruit, The Legendary, and Stone Telling, and is forthcoming at NewMyths.Com, Ampersand Review, and the Moments of Change anthology edited by Rose Lemberg.

I like Brie, the woods, and cats. I do not like the kyriarchy.

Why do you write?

I write because I have stories to tell and things I can only feel out on paper. I find my creativity in old fairy tales and folklore, musty old court cases, and equally musty corners of my brain.

Any favorite authors? Books?

I like Catherynne M. Valente, Amal el-Mohtar, Bob Hicok, Pablo Neruda, Kabir, Rose Lemberg and Katie Moore. I have so many favorite books a list of them would be tedious.
