I learned how to fall in love, in one hour, watching The Waltons. John Boy fell in love with Jenny. Jenny fell in love with John Boy. It taught me the right way to fall in love. It taught me the right way to let love go. I was 12 years old. It was a lesson I would need. I have never been one to get caught up in television or movies. Meaning I know a script is a script. Actors read the script and act parts. Sometimes, I guess, you forget that. I never did before. I never have since. I did in that one hour though. It seemed real. I wanted it to be real. I needed it to be real. It turned out to be real....for me.

well, I can't help but favorite this. It brought tears to my eyes.
Thanks Meg. If you really want to bring tears to your eyes, picture a 50+ year old man, sitting on his couch, watching re-runs of The Waltons, blubbering like a little girl. Tears of laughter.
oh, this is lovely. brings me right back to rainy days in front of the television in dublin as a boy.
Very sweet.
Just beautiful.
Beautifully simple and simply beautiful...(btw) you inspire with your wonderful use of repetitive and echoing cadence. "John Boy fell in love with Jenny. Jenny fell in love with John Boy" Yes, a wonderful time in television. Happy Birthday Sian! *
This is perfect, as is. *
