Against the Wall
by Gary Hardaway
If The Wall is ever built, I hope
the Mexican military will bring tanks
and blast it into dust without apology.
Were that to provoke war, I'd offer
my broken-down body in service of Mexico
and happily fling Molotov cocktails
against ICE agents in armored vehicles
and sing the pain of their burning deaths
as triumph against asininity.
¡Viva la cordura!
Well said!
Thank you, Matt.
Thank you, Erika.
Me, too.
Thank you, Kitty.

The rhythm of revolution.
Thank you, Bill.
You already know how I feel about 45. This is a poem for the resistance. I had family members who went over to Spain to join the Quince Brigada against Franco. Please write more of these.
Thank you, Gita.
