Written the night of the caucus, as I reflected on this fourth election I've been eligible to take part in as a voter.
Things get crazy around here during this famous first caucuses of ours, and I can't help but wonder if I'm truly this jaded or just objective enough to see past the media frenzy, the sudden influx of celebrity, the emptiness of nearly every word uttered.
This story has no tags.
I like the way this LOOKS as well as reads.
I understand the sentiment. *
*I can relate and especially like the second stanza, Tabitha.
And to think you might have put The Bern up one from the other. *
Amen. Well done.*

Thank you SDR, Loren, Nonnie, Mathew, Daniel, and Amanda.
Many share this sentiment, but few express it as well.*
"I miss believing that it will make a difference"
Enjoyed the read.
Stood for something, stood at all.
Right on, Emily. There it is.*
Thank you Sam, Gary, and Tim!
Love your style, love your bravery, love your humanity.
Thank you, Darryl. Those words are life-giving.
Pretty much sums up my view on politics nowadays as well. I like the total absolute eye rhyme (miss believing and misbelieving) in stanza 3.
Thank you, Iain!
My view too.
SDR and Iain - I wish we could drink and talk politics one night. It'd be very satisfying.
...If you can stand me getting on my soapbox. I'm a centrist libertarian.
