you'll do fine, just picture them naked
no wait
that was supposed to be for speeches, not job interviews
uh oh, too late
everyone is naked
VERY good to meet you
I chuckled every time I got an email from Mr. Noodle
my three-year-old daughter loves Mr. Noodle
Huh? yeah, oh that's funny
is that a cartoon character?
No he's just a guy, live action
you know, kid's stuff
So you printed your resume on this coffee cup
that's something
I wanted you guys to think about me every morning
while you were getting your coffee
It says on the coffee mug that your last job
was nine months ago?
Yeah, I wrote poetry, looked at the internet, listened to music
watched movies, read books, drank beer
Never napped but thought about it
So you were fired?
No laid off. work dried up
you know this economy is killing everything
What sort of job are you looking for?
I guess mostly I am tired of working for a paycheck
What, so you want to work for free?
No I want to work for love
You probably don't want to work here then
Not really

Here's one I haven't looked at in a while. Did some reworking on it to get it to flow a bit better.
This has a nice tempo, off-beat humor, and current issues in a relatable, and hip style. Once or twice I had difficulty telling who was the narrator or the potential "employer" but I very much enjoy dialogue poetry!
Fave.
Agreed that being able to keep the voices separate is a bit of a problem. I think it's mostly due to trying to keep in couplets. The coupleted voices unravel at the end. maybe I could subtract a line and they would line up better. thanks for the comment.
