This poem is part of a collection of poems I am currently working on called The Beach Poems dedicated to Annie Dillard written on the shore of Duxbury Beach in Duxbury, MA, my hometown. This collection examines how place helps define memory, focusing on the memories of growing up on the beach, the emotions and exploration of girlhood.
This story has no tags.
Alive with motion, will, and impetus.
Thanks Mathew!
I like the mimilarity between the flower on the cliff and the "she" on the bridge. Very precarious.
Thanks Erika!
Having seen fog change quickly, I find this very beautiful. *
Nicely done.
You handled this one just right, some despair, but at the end a glimmer of hope. Very well done *
