    Susan, I was part of this issue. I am a fiction reader for Drunken Boat. Earlier this year, I read for the short short fiction portfolio, though I didn't happen to read your story until today (there are three other fiction readers besides me). The entire issue looks superb. I'm happy to have played a small part in making it. And yours is a terrific story! Thanks for posting!

    I just read your story. It was great. Congratulations having work in "Drunken Boat."
    They have such a good reputation for the work they publish. Over the years many writers I know have had work in there.
    I am so excited for you!!!!

    I liked how you ended the story. I didn't expect that ending. The story was very edgy too which I liked.
