I'm originally from eastern Kentucky, and live in Cincinnati. I've published short fiction, poetry, humor, and essays in numerous journals. I'm the author of three books, and represented by The Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency.
Creatively I'm fueled by juvenile delinquents, motel rooms, flirty girls, and the wonderful and strange scraps of life that strike me.
This is always a no win proposition as some great work is invariably left out, but some of the first books to come to mind in the ten minutes I'm doing this are: What We Talked About When We Talked About Love, Because They Wanted To, Self-Help, Rope Burns, The Collected Stories of Amy Hempel, On the Road, and Hell's Angels.
Hey Michael, so cool to see you on here! Welcome!
Yeah--another Kentucky writer! Welcome!
Hey man. Cool that you're here. Enjoy.
